Chris Jones poured in three clutch shots from the charity stripe with 3.9 seconds to go, Valencia came back from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit and celebrated a hard-fought victory over Olympiacos in Piraeus, 83-82 (22-28, 12-19, 24-24, 25-11).

Olympiacos had a 16-point lead in the third quarter (53-37), but Valencia answered with a 15-3 run to get right back in it (52-56). Oly pushed the accelerator pedal once more having a 13-point advantage (71-58) before the last 10 minutes of the game but the Spanish squad was not ready to raise a white flag.

Bojan Dubljevic and Chris Jones were running the show while Valencia returned to a minimal deficit (79-80) with 1:06 to play. Both teams were trading with split free throws.

The game came down to the line and Chris Jones was fouled while shooting from downtown. He nailed all three one-point buckets with 3.9 seconds to play.

Olympiacos had two chances to win in the final 3.9 seconds. First, Kostas Sloukas tried a long pull-up jumper, which was short, but it fell into the hands of Alec Peters, who was blocked by James Webb with the last play of the game.

Georgios Bartzokas and Olympiacos players unleashed after the final whistle as they wanted to get a foul instead of an unfavorable block.

Chris Jones and Bojan Dubljevic finished with 17 points apiece in a victory that moves Valencia to 3-3, while Olympiacos drops to 4-2.

Olympiacos: Sasha Vezenkov 20 (7/10 2PT, 2/2 3PT, 7 AST, 27 PIR), Thomas Walkup 12 (2/3 3PT, 6 AST), Kostas Sloukas 11 (6 AST), Moustapha Fall 10 (5/5 2PT, 6 REB).

Valencia: Chris Jones 17 (3/5 3PT, 6/7 FT, 7 AST, 3 STL), Bojan Dubljevic (4/4 2PT, 3/7 3PT), Kyle Alexander 10 (5/7 2PT).
