After it was revealed that Balsa Koprivica needs to be sidelined for two months due to a fractured hand, Partizan Mozzart Bet announced that Dante Exum has suffered an ankle injury.

According to Mozzart Sport, he Australian forward, who's been spending time as a point guard under coach Zeljko Obradovic, will not be with the team for the upcoming games, and his injured leg has been put on a protective boot. More details about the recovery process will be known in the coming days, the club said.

The 5th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft has appeared in all Partizan's games this season. In the EuroLeague, he's averaged 9.8 points in six appearances, recording his best game at the premiere against Alba (22 points). In the ABA League, Exum has averaged 11.8 points and 4.2 assists.

The 27-year-old has been added to Partizan's injury list that also includes Serbian international players Aleksa Avramovic and Alen Smailagic, who haven't played yet this season), while James Nunnally missed the outing vs. Panathinaikos in Athens last Thursday. Before the trip to Athens, he did not feel well, so he stayed in Belgrade.

Furthermore, Balsa Koprivica was injured during the game in the OAKA arena and Zeljko Obradovic pointed out that the player needs to have surgery. According to estimates, he's not expected to be back before the end of the calendar year.

"With games being played in this pace and everything that lies ahead of us, certainly the number of players we have at our disposal at the moment is insufficient," the 62-year-old tactician commented.

"We'll see what our options are. We will not rush; we have to think and see what's best for the team at the moment," said Obradovic.

Partizan are 3-3 in the EuroLeague, while in the ABA League they sit at the top of the table with a 5-0 track.
