"Only thing we can do at this point is get fined. Zero accountability," Huerter wrote on Twitter.
With 1.3 seconds remaining,Huerter made a last-second attempt to force overtime and, from looking at the replays, was clipped by Klay Thompson. However, the referees didn't whistle a foul, and the Warriors won 116-113.
Huerter's teammates De'Aron Fox and Malik Monk also tweeted laughing emojies after seeing the replay of the play.
Kings head coach Mike Brown also shared his view on the situation.
"I just want, at the end of the game, somebody to step up and make the right call," Brown told reporters at the end of the game. "A guy gets hit on the arm shooting a 3, it's a foul. A guy takes 6 steps or 4 steps, it's a travel. We just want an opportunity to win in overtime."
"I do feel bad for the guys. It's tough being a Sacramento King, I think. Kevin [Huerter] got fouled," Brown added.
With a 3-6 record, the Kings fall down to 13th place in the Western Conference. Only the Los Angeles Lakers (2-8) and Houston Rockets (2-9) are the worse teams in the West.
