Stephen Curry put up another masterpiece of a performance, astonishing not only the fans but his own teammates and head coach Steve Kerr.

In a 106-101 victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Golden State Warriors star accumulated 40 points (5/12 2PT, 6/11 3PT, 4/6 FT), 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal.

Curry became the first player in NBA history to record back-to-back games of 40+ points, 65%+ FG, and 5+ 3-pointers made.

Also, Curry is the oldest player with consecutive 40-point games since Michael Jordan in 2002.

"Numbers look good, I want to keep that going. See how long it lasts," Curry said after the game. "A lot of confidence has carried over from the playoffs last year."

"You run out of adjectives to describe Steph's play," Steve Kerr said after the game.

"He's just amazing night after night. He's in such great shape," Kerr continued. "If there's one area that he's dramatically better now than when I first got here eight years ago, it's just his strength and conditioning."

Kerr also praised Curry's defense, emphasizing the influence the Warriors star can do on both ends of the floor.

"He's much bigger and stronger, much more capable of defending at a really high level and sustaining two-way basketball for an entire game and just knocking down shots from all over and finishing at the rim. He's unbelievable," Kerr noted.

Meanwhile, for Draymond Green, numbers are not the most surprising part.

"To me, it's not what he's doing, it's how he's doing it," he noted.

This season, Curry averages 33.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
