The Miami Heat player caught the injury during the preseason and hasn't been able to properly recover since.
The Heat organization seems to get ready for having the Yurtseven out for an extended period of time, waiving Dru Smith in preparation to sign a two-way deal with center Orlando Robinson.
During the summer, Yurtseven made headlines after refusing to play for the Turkish national team in the EuroBasket 2022. The team's head coach Ergin Ataman called the decision a mistake at the time and wanted the center to apologize to the Turkish people.
Last year, Yutseven averaged 5.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game in the NBA.
