BasketNews sources confirm the information about the outgoing talks between the two sides.

Luwawu-Cabarrot last played for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA pre-season. The 27-year-old swingman arrived in Phoenix following a silver medal with the French national team at FIBA EuroBasket 2022, but his stint in Arizona lasted 22 days.

He averaged 8.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over three pre-season games.

Before joining forces with the Suns, Luwawu-Cabarrot registered 4.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game with the Atlanta Hawks last season.

The 2.01-meter athlete has 6 years of NBA experience. Ahead of his one-season tenure in Atlanta, he also played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, and Brooklyn Nets.

The French player went 24th overall by the 76ers in 2016 after playing four professional seasons in France and Serbia. He holds NBA career averages of 5.9 points and 2.0 rebounds over 328 games.

Meanwhile, Emporio Armani have struggled at the start of the 2022-23 EuroLeague season. The Italian team ranks 12th with 3 wins and 4 defeats.

Milan is currently missing four players in the perimeter line:

Luigi Datome remains out after missing the game vs. Virtus due to flu-like symptoms. Shavon Shields is out for 6-8 weeks due to a foot injury (as of October 22). Billy Baron is still recovering from a foot injury. Stefan Tonut has a muscle injury to the adductors of his right thigh. Support BasketNews so we could make even better content.
