NBA teams are ramping up trade discussions as the December 15th deadline slowly approaches. After signing Jalen Brunson this summer, the New York Knicks are holding talks about moving two other guards.

According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the team has shown a willingness to trade away Derrick Rose and Immanuel Quickley.

After signing with a club in free agency, NBA players are not allowed to be traded for three months or until December 15th, whichever is later.

Last year, Rose signed a three-year $43.5 million deal with the Knicks. He is set to earn $14.5 million this season with a team option in play the upcoming summer.

Quickley, meanwhile, is eligible for a rookie contract extension following the 2022-23 season. The Knicks have recently exercised the club option in the deal, keeping the player for the 2023-24 season.

34-year-old Rose is averaging 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists this year while Quickley is registering 8.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
