According to the official announcement, Morant suffered a Grade 1 sprain of his left ankle and is considered week-to-week.

With just over three minutes left in the fourth quarter, Morant attempted a floater. After landing on the floor, the star guar's left foot collided with Thunder's Luguentz Dort. Morant immediately collapsed in pain and had to leave the court. Ja did not finish the game.

After being the Most Improved Player of the Year and getting voted into the All-Star game last season, Morant has been averaging 28.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 7.1 assists this year.

The Grizzlies have one more player sidelined due to injury as Desmond Bane is out for 2-3 weeks following a Grade 2 sprain of his right big toe.
