Benjamin Sene put the guests up by one (79-78) with four minutes remaining on the game clock. But Wembanyama made it 80-79 and Tremont Waters added five straight points to give Vincent Collett's side a bigger advantage.
Nanterre had no response this time around, and Wembanyama dunked it at almost at the buzzer to seal the outcome.
