Dusko Ivanovic seems like a true Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade savior. The new Red Star coach navigated his team to a second consecutive EuroLeague victory, this time taking down ALBA Berlin in overtime drama, 88-84 (20-19, 17-21, 18-17, 20-18, 13-9).

A perfect 3-0 start turned into a nightmare for ALBA, as they have lost their last six games.

A back-and-forth game followed the same script heading into the final minutes of the encounter tonight.

Yovel Zoosman tied the game at 75 with one minute to go in the game. Both teams were exchanged with unsuccessful attacks, while Crvena Zvezda had the last possession and 17 seconds on the clock. ALBA used their spare team fouls to reduce Zvezda's attack time to 8 seconds.

Nemanja Nedovic tried to win the game for Red Star, but his two-point basket went off the mark. Both teams went into overtime.

Despite ALBA having the early advantage in overtime, thanks to Yovel Zoosman's three-pointer and 1 made free throw apiece by Luke Sikma and Jaleen Smith (80-77), Zvezda managed to come back. Luca Vildoza and Nemanja Nedovic-led Red Star organized a crucial 8-1 run which paved the way for a narrow win on the road (85-81).

Luca Vildoza led the route for the Serbians, posting 21 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and a team-high 22 PIR.

Zvezda: Luca Vildoza 21 (5 AST), Nemanja Nedovic 17 (6 AST), Luka Mitrovic 15.

ALBA: Jaleen Smith 23 (8 REB, 22 PIR), Ben Lammers 12, Luke Sikma 10 (5 REB, 7 AST), Yovel Zoosman 10.
