Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv managed to hand Olympiacos Piraeus their first road loss thanks to an impressive last quarter. Maccabi won 90-84 (22-20, 21-25, 20-24, 27-15) and improved to 5-1 at home this season.

Despite a late buzzer-beating triple by Bonzie Colson, Maccabi entered the fourth quarter trailing by 6 (63-69). New quarter – new history, as the home team geared up on defense and allowed just 2 Olympiacos' points in the first 4 minutes of the last tally.

In the meantime, Jarrel Martin sank 2 triples to bring the Maccabi fans to their feet again (73-71). Turnovers and poor shooting from behind the arc continued to sink the Reds in the fourth quarter, while Wade Baldwin was running the show for Maccabi.

The yellow-and-blues arranged a crucial 7-0 spurt in the mid-fourth period (80-74) and Olympiacos could not recover from a deep knockdown.

Baldwin led the way for Maccabi with 22 points and a game-high 24 PIR, while Sasha Vezenkov finished with a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards for Olympiacos.

Maccabi: Wade Baldwin 22, Lorenzo Brown 16 (6 AST), Jarrel Martin 13 (5 REB), John DiBartolomeo 11 (7 REB).

Olympiacos: Giannoulis Larentzakis 21, Sasha Vezenkov 17 (10 REB), Kostas Slouksa 15 (5 AST), Kostas Papanikolaou 13.
