Sasha Vezenkov was once again brilliant in the EuroLeague yesterday, recording yet another high-scoring performance against ALBA Berlin.

The Bulgarian forward scored 24 points on 8-for-15 shooting, grabbed 6 rebounds, and stole 4 balls for 34 PIR. However, the way he did it was unusual.

All 24 points Vezenkov scored came without him ever dribbling the ball once. The Olympiacos star scored 18 of the 24 points from the court (making 6/6 free throws), and all shots came from either catch-and-shoot situations or isolation scenarios where Vezenkov didn't need to let the ball go from his hands to deliver for his team.

Knowing that Vezenkov is second in the entire league in scoring (20.1 points per game), such a feat is truly unique. If we added the fact that all neighboring players are ball handlers who like to have the game in their control, the Jaycee Carroll-like nature of him scoring the ball despite being a frontcourt player makes it truly special.

This season, Vezekov leads the league in average PIR (27.8) and rebounds (8.7) and is second in scoring (20.1), doing at an almost 50/40/90 pace (67.1% 2PT, 43.4% 3PT, 87.2% FT).
