Valencia Basket held a shareholder meeting recently where the club's income, expenses, and this season's budget were approved.

First, the organization reported a €22.7 million expenditure for the last season, €15.6 million of which was contributed by the club's patrons.

For this year, the organization's budget has been increased by 6.2% to €24.2 million for both men's and women's teams, with €17.05 million and €2.5 million going to each, respectively. The figure includes expenses for players and coaching staff salaries, travel expenses, and other organizational matters.

The budget increase is attributed to the organization's increased ability to generate income and contributions from the main shareholders, Juan Roig and Hortensia Herrero.

Out of the total 24-million figure, the club is expected to maintain €15 million from its patrons.
