With 4:25 to go in the fourth quarter, the Serbian guard grabbed Amath M'Baye's leg while standing up and was called for an offensive foul. Immediately after the call, Teodosic went right to referee Damir Javor to complain about the call.
A couple of moments later, Teodosic was discussing the matter with another referee, Emilio Perez. After the two had seemingly ended the discussion, Teodosic waived his arms emotionally and received a technical from Javor.
The player instantaneously exploded. Teodosic started screaming directly into Javor's face. Moments after, the referee gave the guard a direct disqualifying foul with Perez showing a second technical and a disqualification thereafter.
In the end, all three remained true. Teodosic was given a technical, which was his fifth foul. Because of it, his second technical was given to the bench. Additionally, Teodosic was ejected from the game.
Referee Damir Javor was a part of controversy last season as well when he gave a foul for Tonye Jekiri late in the match against Nikola Mirotic who was shooting a three-pointer. The fans could later see that Jekiri didn't touch the Montenegrin forward and Mirotic's reaction was all theatrics. The three free throws Mirotic made decided the game.
