As Marius Grigonis' back problem continues, the Lithuanian guard will probably sit out Panathinaikos' Greek league derby against Olympiacos in Piraeus on December 5.

He set two EuroLeague career-highs on his most productive night with the green jersey.
However, the American swingman will soon be recording highs and lows in the Greek league as well.
For starters, he'll join PAO's 12-man squad for Sunday's game against PAOK at OAKA for the Greek league, making his debut in another competition.
For more than a month, Panathinaikos had decided not to change their lineup, keeping their options open. Hence, Andrew Andrews is still registered as one of the seven non-Greek players that any team is entitled to, even though he hasn't played a second over the last five weeks.
According to SDNA, Bacon will essentially replace Marius Grigonis after the Lithuanian shooting guard experienced a problem with his back that prevents him from practicing and playing. Grigonis left the Ulker Sports arena in the second quarter of Panathinaikos' game vs. Fenerbahce on Nov. 18, and isn't expected to return anytime soon.

"We will see Bacon against PAOK on Sunday, and he will take Grigonis' place due to injury," assistant coach Thanassis Giaples told SDNA, while also confirming that chances are against the former Zalgiris player participating in the season's second rival game after the Greek Super Cup final in Rhodes.
