Olympiacos Piraeus easily defeated Promitheas Patras in the Greek Basketball League earlier today. The team got off to a hot start and never looked back, reaching several impressive feats along the way.

First, Olympiacos made 17 three-pointers in the match, shooting them at a high 56% (17/30), tying the team's record for made threes in a game in the league.

Additionally, Thomas Walkup dished out 13 assists during the match, marking the second-highest result in the team's local league history. However, one more achievement was reached during the game.

Olympiacos did not have a single offensive rebound against Promitheas. According to Greek journalist Yannis Psarakis, it is the first time in the Greek Basketball League's professional history that a team did not get even one offensive rebound during a game.

Even though the Greek league has been around for almost a century now, the competition was made professional in the 1992-93 season.

"I think we're one of the best teams in the world. After the NBA, it's us. So, we should be doing this," Olympiacos forward Shaquielle McKissic talked after the game about blowing out weaker teams in the local league.

Kostas Sloukas was registered for the match but was ultimately rested due to muscle discomfort.

Olympiacos will now start getting ready for a tough EuroLeague matchup against Anadolu Efes Istanbul on Thursday. Four days later, Olympiacos are going to meet against their fierce rival Panathinaikos Athens in the local league on December 3rd.
