While evaluating the match, Itoudis also talked about the tension between him and a couple of Galatasaray players.

Goksenin Koksal and Dee Bost came to the Fenerbahce bench to listen to his talk with the team during the match.

"It is not a fair situation. I'm not going to the Galatasaray bench. I don't have spies listening to what Galatasaray are talking about. It happened to me for the first time in my life. So I said, 'come on, let's listen', and continued talking normally.

"But it goes against the spirit of the game. It was a surprise for me. Do they want to listen to my break while I talk to my players? Maybe they want to learn something," Itoudis said after the game, per TrendBasket.

What is more, beIn SPORTS reported that Itoudis protested to the game referees that Galatasaray guard Koksal cursed him throughout the discussion.

"As you have witnessed, it was a very intense match. It required soul and heart. Players used whatever was in the warehouse," the 52-year-old specialist continued his comments about the derby.

"This team showed character and pride. This team showed respect to their club, their fans, and themselves. We want the club board to be proud that they chose us. We want our fans to be proud," he added.

Although Fenerbahce stayed undefeated in the Turkish league (7-0), the team suffered a setback as Scottie Wilbekin left the game injured.
