"If we want to approach this subject, for me, there is no need to panic. I find it hard to understand people's reactions," former NBA great said to Le Progres. "It's funny because if we won the matches against Belgrade, Dijon, and Bayern, which we controlled, we would be fifth in the EuroLeague and fourth in Betclic (French Basketball League), and I wouldn't even be ahead of you tonight.
"When you are ASVEL, you have to express yourself. I understand, but for me, there is zero panic," Parker explained. "The team must continue to progress."
This week, a French battle is on the horizon for ASVEL as the club welcomes AS Monaco in the EuroLeague on Thursday. The match is scheduled to start at 20:00 CET.
