With Dwight Howard getting tons of spotlight and attention after signing with Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan, the local clubs started searching for similar players who could join the T1 League.

DeMarcus Cousins

With Carmelo Anthony being pursued by the Tainan TSG GhostHawks and Kaohsiung Aquas as well as the GhostHawks looking to sign DeMarcus Cousins, things might not be as simple as they look.

NBA insider Marc Stein reports that the trio of Anthony, Cousins, and Isaiah Thomas have so far shown little to no interest in coming to play in Taiwan. According to Stein, all three players are determined to search for an opportunity to continue their careers in the NBA despite interest from abroad.

In particular, Anthony looks at the possibility of playing his 20th season in the league as a significant milestone in his career, setting himself up on par with LeBron James.

Shaquille O'Neal has criticized Howard's impressive stats in the two games he has played, claiming that he is playing against LifeTime Fitness league guys. Howard then responded with a fiery monologue, taking jabs at Shaq as a person and as a player.
