A clash between two top EuroLeague teams will headline Round 11 this week as Anadolu Efes Istanbul host Olympiacos Piraeus on Thursday, December 1st.

Olympiacos are currently sitting in second place in the standings while Efes are now on a three-game win streak after starting the season 2-and-5.

Talking before the flight to Turkey, Olympiacos' Kostas Sloukas emphasized the opponents' recent success but was sure that the team can get back home with a win.

"Efes have started to find their way. They're two-time European champions, they have now won several consecutive games, and are in good momentum. Nevertheless, we are not afraid and we travel with the goal of getting the victory," the guard said. "In general, I am optimistic about Thursday's match."

"I think that the match will naturally be decided on the control of the pace, the potential, and how much everyone wants to win," Sloukas added.

The game between Efes and Olympiacos is scheduled for 18:30 CET on Thursday.
