With the big news of Nikola Mirotic coming back to play for the first time this season, two other players are set to miss the match.
According to the club's official announcement, Sertac Sanli and Alex Abrines have not travelled with the team. The Turkish center is suffering from discomfort in his right knee while Abrines is sidelined due to low back pain.
Sanli has been averaging 21 minutes of play per contest, recording 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists for 6.8 PIR. Meanwhile, Abrines has been a less frequent player on the court - 6.5 points and 2.3 rebounds for 6 PIR in 18 minutes of play.
"The dynamics and the roles change a bit once again. We had to endure until December with so many [players] injured and now we are starting again," head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius talked about Mirotic's return. "In the end, it is a pretty good problem to have."
