Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton is nearing his season debut, potentially as soon as Friday vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

All-Star forward underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist in early July.

Middleton averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in 66 games with Milwaukee last season.

The 2021 NBA champion was plagued by injuries during the Bucks' postseason run in 2021-22, missing 10 straight playoff games as he recovered from a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
