Virtus Bologna have filed an appeal for a two-game suspension and now wait for the final decision from the EuroLeague organization ahead of tomorrow's EuroLeague game vs. Zvezda.

Yesterday EuroLeague announced the punishment for Virtus Segafredo Bologna veteran Milos Teodosic, who is set to serve a two-game suspension due to "insulting and offensive acts representing a lack of respect towards the officiating crew in the game vs. Anadolu Efes Istanbul."

However, that does not mean that the Serbian point guard will automatically miss tomorrow's EuroLeague game against Crvena Zvezda (18:00 CET) and the Round 12 match over Olympiacos in Piraeus (December 9).

EuroLeague's disciplinary judge can freeze the previous decision on the punishment until the appeal is fully analyzed. Such a scenario could create the possibility for Teodosic to play at least in Belgrade.

Then, depending on the size of the sanctions, which can theoretically be reduced if Virtus' appeal is accepted, it will be determined whether and how many games Teodosic will be suspended.

According to the rules, Bologna had ten days to file an appeal.

Teodosic averages 8.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 7.3 PIR in nine EuroLeague games this season.
