Vasilije Micic was very near a rare achievement in the EuroLeague as only 1 rebound and 1 assist separated the guard from a triple-double. Led by Micic, Anadolu Efes Istanbul (6-5) overcame Olympiacos Piraeus (7-4) after a solid run in the fourth quarter 82-71 (13-18, 20-23, 19-12, 30-18).

Overall, Micic scored 18 points (3/3 2PT, 3/8 3PT, 3/3 FT), grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 9 assists, and drew 6 fouls for 31 PIR.

Olympiacos started the game much better and had a solid lead after a 10-0 to begin the quarter. Even though Will Clyburn's entrance gave the Turkish team some life, the first 10 minutes belonged to the guests.

Olympiacos continued their dominance in the second quarter, maintaining a largely similar lead, and the teams went into the locker rooms with the Greek team leading by eight (41-33).

The third quarter was the precursor to what was going to happen in the fourth. Efes ended the quarter on a 6-0 run and continued the momentum into the last 10 minutes. Another 6-0 run set up a 5-point Efes lead (58-53), which was the first ever during the match.

With Vasilije Micic coming near a triple-double, the home team was leading by eight points with two and a half minutes to go. Olympiacos weren't able to come back, and Efes grabbed their fourth win in a row.

Anadolu Efes: Will Clyburn 24 (5/10 2PT, 4/8 3PT, 2/2 FT, 5 REB, 2 STL), Rodrigue Beaubois 19 (2/4 2PT, 5/6 3PT, 6 REB, 3 STL), Vasilije Micic 18 (3/3 2PT, 3/8 3PT, 3/3 FT, 9 REB, 9 AST, 31 PIR).
