Euroleague Basketball reviewed the mistake at the last seconds of ALBA Berlin-Barcelona game, admitting that the game clock wasn't started on time.

On Saturday, two days after the game, Euroleague Basketball reviewed the incident and confirmed "there was a game clock error," adding that it didn't affect the outcome.
"With 4.7 seconds left on the fourth quarter, after a missed free throw from FC Barcelona’s Nikola Mirotic, the game clock did not start running until 3 seconds later.
After reviewing the Game Clock File, it is demonstrated that the referees failed to start the game clock and did not recognize the error. The timekeeper was also late in starting the game clock.
If at any moment the play would have altered the result of the game, the game clock error would have been reviewed in the Instant Replay System as this is a reviewable play. However, the outcome of the game was not affected," the release reads.
