According to Moses Barda from ONE.co.il, the Israeli club is considering parting ways with head coach Oded Kattash. There are four possible replacement options, the journalist reports.

Pablo Laso comes first, who is still without a team after getting let go by Real Madrid last summer. The Spanish specialist has indicated that he's ready to work and is waiting for an opportunity.

Next, a seemingly-unlikely comeback of Ioannis Sfairopoulos is being considered. Maccabi fired the Greek coach last year after a series of local and international losses. Zalgiris Kaunas have contacted the specialist the last spring while searching for a new coach but Sfairopoulos himself denied the team's offer as he was looking for a more coveted coaching spot in Europe.

Igor Milicic who got the Polish national team into the semifinal of EuroBasket 2022 is the third option on the list. The fourth candidate is Sergio Hernandez, an Argentinian specialist who last coached Casademont Zaragoza and the Argentinian national team, helping it reach the silver medal spot in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
