Lukas Lekavicius suddenly stopped playing after feeling a deep pain in the third quarter. The guard was guided to the bench and did not return to the game.

After further tests, it was determined that Lekavicius has a broken rib and won't be able to play for at least 4 weeks, the club has announced.

Serving the role of the backup point guard, Lekavicius has been averaging 5.6 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists for 5.6 PIR per game in the EuroLeague.

With Lekavicius sidelined, the backup point guard role will be assumed by veteran Mantas Kalnietis.

Zalgiris Kaunas welcome Anadolu Efes Istanbul in the Zalgirio Arena this week. With 6 wins and 5 losses, the Lithuanian team currently shares 6th place with two other teams, with Efes being one of them.
