The Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis had to leave the court just after 8 minutes due to flu-like symptoms.

In a 102-116 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Davis accumulated 1 point (1/3 FT), 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.

After the game, Lakers head coach Darvin Ham confirmed Davis was dealing with a 101-degree (38.3°C) fever.

"It got progressively worse as the day went on. His temperature was 101, and some change. He wanted to try and play, but he felt too weak, drained, and dehydrated," Ham explained.

Ham added that Davis is currently the only Laker with flu and will be traveling with the rest of the team to Toronto. The Lakers will face the Raptors on Wednesday night.

Davis' status for the game against the Raptors will be updated tomorrow.

This season, Davis averages 27.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 20 games played.
