The Utah Jazz took the ball away from the Warriors with just seconds to go, and Simone Fontecchio finished the fast break with a dunk, giving the home team a win.

This time the underdogs defeated the reigning champions Golden State Warriors after a clutch defensive effort in the last seconds of the game.

With just under 7 seconds to go, the Warriors had the ball and a one-point lead (123-122). Ty Jerome inbounded the ball to Jordan Poole but it was stripped by Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Malik Beasley took the ball and sprinted toward the opponents' basket to try and win the game.
Beasley then passed it to Simone Fontecchio who finished the fast break with a dunk, giving the home team a one-point lead (124-123) with just a second to go. The last effort by the Warriors was no good, and the Jazz took the victory.
It was the best game for Fontecchio in his young NBA career. The Italian forward scored 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting, while also recording 3 rebounds, an assist, and a block in 20 minutes of play.
Stephen Curry (right ankle soreness), Draymond Green (left hip tightness), and Andrew Wiggins (right adductor tightness) missed the game for the Warriors.
With 15 wins and 12 losses, the Jazz are currently sixth in the Western Conference. Their next game comes against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.
