Olympiacos head coach Giorgos Bartzokas revealed that Thomas Walkup (back), Shaquielle McKissic (adductor), and Tarik Black (sprain) are all doubtful for the upcoming game on Tuesday. None of them will train on Monday.
Walkup and McKissic suffered injuries in the Greek league game against PAOK, while Black sustained a sprain and didn't even play on Sunday.
"Walkup felt a back discomfort before the match, and it was doubtful whether he would play," Bartzokas said on Sunday. "He eventually played the first quarter, but his back got worse. I don't think it's anything serious ahead of Tuesday's showdown, but he had to sit out as a precaution. McKissic felt discomfort in the adductor."
"There are some special conditions," Bartzokas said before Monday's practice. "Not only we but also Fener have played Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. There are many games and all the players, as you understand, find it difficult to follow this process. We currently have many minor injury issues in the team, which I don't think will leave anyone out. We are concerned that some guys will not practice today, but they will do therapy."
Walkup averages 6.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 2.3 steals, and 12.2 PIR in 12 EuroLeague games.
McKissic's stat line is 6.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 5.8 PIR per game. Meanwhile, Black averages 3.2 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 2.0 PIR.
Fenerbahce will arrive without Johnathan Motley, who suffered a calf injury and will miss 10-15 days of action.
Olympiacos will host Fenerbahce on Tuesday at 19:00 CET.
