Rokas Giedraitis hit a crazy three-pointer with just 18 seconds left to help Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (8-5) defeat Anadolu Efes Istanbul (7-6) 83-78 (21-23, 15-23, 28-12, 19-20)

Efes started the game better and even held a 15-point lead in the second quarter ((39-24). However, the basques battled back and already held a 10-point lead with less than 8 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter (68-58).

With Vasilije Micic subbed out due to 4 personal fouls, Efes began to climb back. Mostly inspired by individual Will Clyburn's effort, the home team battled back and tied the game (70-70).

Despite that, Baskonia played the end of the game much better. To top everything off, Rokas Giedraitis hit a crazy last-second one-legged three-pointer with just 18 seconds to go to push the lead to five (81-76), which ultimately sealed the game.

"It's funny because Vanja [Marinkovic] and Rokas are the two guys in practice that shoot full-court and half-court shots before it even starts," Marcus Howard said after the game. "How many shots they make is just crazy. It happens a lot more than you think. It's a crazy shot but he's made shots like that before."

Marcus Howard was the top scorer on Baskonia's roster with 19 points on 7-on-12 shooting. Vanja Marinkovic added 18 points, while Rokas Giedraitis contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Vasilije Micic led Efes in scoring with 17 points and 6 assists but made 5 turnovers and struggled in the fourth quarter. Amath M'Baye added 16 points.

Efes: Vasilije Micic 17 (8/11 2PT, 0/4 3PT, 6 AST, 5 TO), Amath M'Baye 16 (4/7 3PT), Will Clyburn 15 (4/10 2PT).

Baskonia: Marcus Howard 19 (5/9 3PT), Vanja Marinkovic 18 (4/9 3PT), Rokas Giedraitis 11 (6 REB).
