Ever since he arrived at the club, Luca Vildoza has been one of the most beloved players by Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade fans. After a clutch performance in the fourth quarter against Zalgiris Kaunas yesterday, they even started chanting 'Argentina, Argentina' during a timeout.

Asked about the support he receives from the local fans, Vildoza assured that the support fans show in his home country of Argentina sometimes might be even more impressive than in Serbia.

"It was great. Especially the fans who sang Argentina, supported me and my country. That's why you feel loved," the player said. "They are crazy, just like us, but we are somewhat different, even crazier. I like that, we are very similar and I am glad to be here."

Ever since head coach Dusko Ivanovic arrived, Crvena Zvezda have been on a roll, capturing six wins in a row.

It's now tied for the best takeover in EuroLeague history, sharing the record with Zvi Sherf who successfully took overMaccabi Tel Avivin the 2007-08 season to reach the same amount of consecutive victories.

"Hard work from practice and of course the coach and his assistants. They show us how to stay calm and ready in critical moments," Vildoza named the reasons for the successful run. "Dusko Ivanovic is without a doubt a very important part of this team."

Crvena Zvezda hostEA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Thursday. With the Italian team mightily struggling recently, there is a decent chance that the Montenegrin coach might hold the new record this week already.
