With Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade's offer for Facundo Campazzo sitting on the table, Real Madrid had 10 days to respond and match the deal. The time has now expired.

The Serbian club has offered €1.8 million for the remainder of this season and €2.5 million for the next season to the Argentinian guard. Additionally, the buyout this upcoming summer is reportedly just €50,000.

Real Madrid could not match the offer, and Campazzo's signing with Crvena Zvezda is imminent.

According to MARCA, there have been talks between the two sides in recent days but the €2.6 million Facundo still owes Real from the €6 million NBA buyout clause was the main issue, the site reports.

Encestando reported that Olympiacos Piraeus made a last-minute offer to Campazzo as well but it was more a formality than an actual possibility of Campazzo going to Greece.

Crvena Zvezda star guard Luca Vildoza was excited with the news, posting a photoshopped image of both him and Campazzo on the team.

Campazzo's camp is expected to iron out all the remaining details in the upcoming hours and days, and the Argentinian will sign with the Serbian club to form a guar duo with Vildoza.
