"From what I know about shoulder injuries, any time you can avoid surgery, it's great news," Curry said.

He also commented that he needs to "trust the process — no pun intended" — in terms of getting back.

Is surgery something Steph Curry might consider after the season?

"Not right now. [The shoulder] will let me know if it's necessary or not."

Curry is expected to miss "a few weeks" with his left shoulder injury, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Curry finished Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers in the locker room with an injured left shoulder.

He was injured with about two minutes left in the third quarter as the Warriors tried to rally from a 20-point halftime deficit.

Curry scored 38 points before leaving the game.
