Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade big man Hassan Martin will be sidelined for at least two and a half months, Red Star president Nebojsa Covic told Sputnik Portal during the interview.

"He suffered the injury towards the end of the game with Zalgiris. Martin injured the lateral central ligament that keeps the knee balanced. It ruptured. The minimum is two and a half months," Covic said.

Martin has already missed the EuroLeague match against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Thursday. He averages 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.8 PIR over 13 EuroLeague games this season.

Zvezda's president also provided an update regardingNikola Ivanovic, who is out due to a rib injury he sustained in the ABA League derby against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

"He will be absent for another month and a half or two months. It's a very serious fracture in an unusual fall. Three ribs were broken. It's a painful injury, and Nikola was very lucky that one of those broken ribs did not penetrate the lung tissue. We have to be patient."
