On November 4, Koprivica suffered a hand fracture in the game against Panathinaikos Athens and had to undergo surgery.

Now, he's back with the rest of the team and ramping up to make his return to the court.

"I started training a few days ago in the most normal way," Koprivica told Bojan Brezovac from Mozzart Sport. "I take part in 5-on-5 drills with the team. Now comes the check-up, more precisely on Friday. I will send an X-ray to the doctor in Madrid, who will look at it."

"Six weeks have passed since the surgery, and he should give me the green light that I can finally play," added the 22-year-old.

Koprivica revealed that the last month of being sidelined wasn't easy. However, the good news is that Partizan's center shouldn't suffer such an injury for the second time.

"It was difficult for me when I found out that I have to rest and that the injury requires surgery," said Koprivica. "I think they put eight or nine screws into my hand, so it's all healed, and it's barely possible to hurt it again."

"I still have some minimal swelling on my hand that will go down, and in some situations, I feel a little pain, but that's normal. I was told everything would be repaired in eight weeks, but after six, I can start playing and training normally," Koprivica concluded.

Koprivica played in five EuroLeague games this season, averaging 1.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.6 PIR per game.
