The player now responded.

He then proceeded to say that Haliburton is not worth making the All-Star team over several guys that the Knicks have.
The Pacers guard has recently sat down for an interview with Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks where he addressed the recent feud.
"My phone's been blowing up about the past couple of days just people sending me it. I think everybody is entitled to their own basketball opinion," Haliburton said. "I'm a basketball historian, I feel like I know a lot about the game. I know the name Wally Szczerbiak, I couldn't tell you where he played, I couldn't tell you what he did as a basketball player."
"No disrespect to the people that come before me but I don't know... He had a lot to say about me. I was really questioning, first, who is this and why is he talking like this? But that happens," the player explained.
Even though Haliburton has been averaging 19.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game, his shooting performance during the game against the Knicks was one of his worst as the guard made only 5 field goals in 16 attempts.
"He made the point pretty emphatically a couple of times. I don't know if I ever came out and said, like, 'I want to be an All-Star this year, please vote for me'. I don't think I've done that," Haliburton continued.
"I don't know. I think he was just excited about the Knicks' win and that got him going," the player explained. "We play the Knicks in a couple of weeks and I'm going to continue to worry about what I have going on and our side of things. He's just doing whatever he can to get attention and that's just the media these days."
