With just under a minute played in the game, Mike James attempted a stepback jumper. After he missed it, numerous players were fighting for the rebound with Loyd being one of them.
As the ball reached the three-point line, Loyd collided with Devon Hall and immediately was in visible pain. Moments later, the guard was subbed off and did not return to the game with an apparent shoulder injury.
"We have to see what’s going on, but we missed him a lot tonight," head coach Sasa Obradovic commented after the game.
After leading the game 70-58 with just over 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter, AS Monaco allowed EA7 Emporio Armani Milan to go on a game-deciding 21-1 run, which gave the Italian club its second victory in a row in the EuroLeague.
