Morgan writes his body cannot meet what basketball requires anymore.

The American big man faced back issues last season, which forced him to undergo surgery on a herniated disc in November 2021.

Morgan missed a significant time last campaign while playing for LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne.

He appeared in only one EuroLeague game and scored 12 points. However, Morgan did not play a single match in the French league.

Morgan played four years with the Michigan State Spartans before starting his professional career in Europe.

He has played in Israel (Maccabi Rishon, Elizur Ashkelon), Germany (BG Gottingen, Ratiopharm Ulm), Greece (Panathinaikos), Turkey (Tofas, Pinar Karsiyaka, Manisa, Galatasaray), Russia (UNICS), and France (ASVEL) during his 12-year career.
