Aco Petrovic jabs at Partizan and Zvezda again: 'It's not normal' / News - Basketnews.com
Aleksandar Petrovic thinks Partizan and Crvena Zvezda are in the league of their own, and their participation in the ABA League just hinders the development of young talent in the region.

The Croatian specialist is now continuing on the same thought he expressed earlier this month.

In my opinion, it is not normal for us to play in the same league with teams that cost 10, 12, or 15 million euros and have ten foreigners each," the Croatian national team's head coach said to Croatia's Sportske Novosti.
"Our problems only belong to us, we shouldn't run away from that and the fact is that our clubs should be more competitive but when you look at Zvezda and Partizan, it's not the same league," Petrovic told.
Croatian teams are in the middle of the pack of the ABA League this season. Zadar have the most wins with 7 and are currently in 5th place. Cibona and Split, meanwhile, are currently battling for the last playoff spot and currently sit in 8th and 9th places respectively.
"Miraculously, we have more victories in the ABA League this season than was objectively expected but these things cannot be measured. Zvezda pay Campazzo 1.8 million euros net only until the end of the season, it's simply not something that anyone in our country can deal with," Petrovic concluded.
