Luka Doncic recorded his eighth triple-double of the season, becoming the NBA's leader in this category, leading the Dallas Mavericks to another win.

In a 129-114 win against the Houston Rockets, Doncic accumulated 35 points (7/12 2PT, 4/9 3PT, 9/12 FT), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks, and 2 turnovers.

Alongside that, Doncic has scored an NBA-record 95 points in the consecutive triple-doubles.

With his eighth triple-double, Doncic overtook Nikola Jokic, who has 7 triple-doubles. Russell Westbrook, Domantas Sabonis, and Ja Morant have three triple-doubles each.

However, it was not only Doncic who shined this time.

Christian Wood finished with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and a season-high tying 4 blocks, Powell was 8-of-8 from the floor and collected a season-high 19 points and 6 rebounds in only 21 minutes.

Meanwhile, Tim Hardaway added 18 points, and Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 15 points and six assists.

"I did ask a couple of players that we needed to step up and not wait for Luka, and they responded," head coach Jason Kidd said after the game. "We talked about it before the game, and they understand the time or the stress we put on Luka, so we needed some guys to be able to get some easy baskets and take that stress off of him, and they did that tonight."
