Anadolu Efes Istanbul officially announced that the team parted ways with Isaiah Taylor.

The player was under a non-guaranteed contract and Efes decided not to exercise his option.

Taylor arrived in Istanbul on November 1, mainly as a backup guard to compensate for the loss of Shane Larkin in the injury-plagued Efes backcourt line.

He could not find a bigger role in the back-to-back EuroLeague champions' rotation. Taylor averaged 2.6 points and 1.6 PIR over 11 EuroLeague games (10 minutes).

The 28-year-old guard played in Murcia last season. In 34 Spanish league games, Taylor recorded 15.2 points on 43.2% field goal shooting and dished 3.4 assists.

Efes have an 8-8 record and share 8th-10th places in the EuroLeague standings.
