AfterVictor Claver received a severe blow to the ribs in Tuesday's ACB league game against Carplus Fuenlabrada, he was transferred to a hospital where various tests performed didn't detect any cracks or fractures in the ribs area.

However, he was re-evaluated after a couple of days, and this time, the imaging tests revealed a rib fracture, Valencia Basket officially announced.

"Recovery will prevent him from being available again in a few weeks, and his evolution will determine the exact time he will be sidelined," the report reads further.

The 34-year-old Spanish forward averages 5.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 6.2 PIR over 16 EuroLeague games this season.

Valencia is also missing Sam Van Rossom, Martin Hermannsson, and Millan Jimenez due to long-term injuries.
