The match between the Toronto Raptors and the Portland Trail Blazers featured an interesting episode in the fourth quarter that made several Blazers players question what they were seeing on the court.

After Josh Hart's missed shot, OG Anunoby rebounded the ball and passed it to Pascal Siakam. The Raptors star dribbled the ball past the halfcourt line and tried to pass it to Fred VanVleet. However, the pass was very inaccurate and went straight out of bounds without anyone other than Siakam touching it.
The referees initially called it Blazers ball but Raptors' head coach Nick Nurse started to furiously protest the call, claiming it was deflected. After a discussion amongst themselves, the refereeing crew of Ben Taylor, Natalie Sago, and Evan Scott overruled their initial decision and gave Raptors the ball.
Blazers star guard Damian Lillard was visibly baffled by the decision that a wrong call was made on a seemingly really simple episode.
Ultimately, Instant Replay was triggered and the right call was made, giving Blazers the possession and marking Siakam with a turnover.
