The latter hashtag got going when Zvezda players appeared with a such phrase written on their warm-up jerseys ahead of the EuroLeague game vs. Valencia Basket last week.
Meanwhile, EuroLeague social media moderators accidentally posted an Instagram story with the aforementioned 'FreeFacu' hashtag yesterday.
The story that backed up the Argentinian guard was taken down a couple of hours later.
Campazzo's agency Senior Director, David Carro Funes, managed to capture the blunder.
For his part, Facu proved his worth again by playing in the ABA League. He put up a dominant performance with 23 points (5/9 3PT), 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 33 PIR in Sunday's 80-57 win over MZT Skopje.
Following the domestic victory, Campazzo met with Serbian journalists and voiced his admiration for the supporting campaign.
"For me, it [the support] means a lot," he said. "All the support my family, friends, teammates, and basketball fans have shown me motivates me to play with a lot of energy and try to stay in the game rhythm every day. It's huge.
"It's really hard [to sit and watch games in the EuroLeague]. I don't want to be outside the court. I want to play and be dressed in playing jerseys. But there is nothing I can do on my hands. I can't control that I am not playing, it's not my decision. It's the boss's decision," the 31-year-old pointed out.
"What I can control is supporting my team," he continued. "I just try to encourage my teammates and clap every game and every minute, and to be for them. That's the only way I can put the energy. I hope something will change after the fans and players' support."
