KD sustained a knee injury in Sunday's 102-101 win over the Miami Heat.
With over a minute to go in the third quarter, Jimmy Butler had the ball with several seconds left in the shot clock. The Heat star drove to the basket past Seth Curry, attempted a tough contested layup, and got blocked by Ben Simmons.
After the attempt, Butler inadvertently landed on Durant's right leg, forcing his knee to bend sideways. The Nets superstar immediately fell to the ground, grabbing his right knee.
He kept rubbing the knee going down the court until head coach Jacque Vaughn had to take a timeout for the star forward to be substituted. Durant left the game and did not return.
Two-time NBA champ and 12-time All-Star averages 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists over 39 games this season. He is the Nets' MVP candidate which would be his second award after becoming the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2014.
