We'll see, but he's unlikely to play tomorrow [against Real]. We'll see from now on," Ivanovic said about the leader of the team.
Vildoza suffered a partial rupture in his hamstring during the EuroLeague Round 16 game against FC Barcelona on December 30. The first medical assessments indicated that he could be out for about a month.
The 27-year-old guard averages 14.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.6 steals, and 13.7 PIR over 13 EuroLeague games.
Coach Ivanovic certainly will not be able to count on Facundo Campazzo (ban), Hassan Martin (knee), and Nikola Ivanovic (rib) this double-round week.
Though, the latter player is progressing well and has been training for some time after the rib injury. He could return to the court for the away game against Zalgiris Kaunas on Jan. 20.
Zvezda are scheduled to play two home games this week. They play Real Madrid on Tuesday (19:00 CET) and AS Monaco on Thursday (19:00 CET).
