He had a heated argument with his coaches and threw a massage gun onto the court, causing the ejection.
Dedmon, 33, could get suspended by the Heat for the argument with the coaches and could get fined by the NBA for throwing the object on the court.
The big man finished the match with two points and three rebounds in five minutes.
"It's a regular Tuesday night with the Miami Heat. We're in a one-point game and we had some skirmishes on the bench," Erik Spoelstra commented on what happened between him and Dedmon.
The Heat ended up winning 112-111 over the Oklahoma City Thunder behind Jimmy Butler's and-1 game-winner and an NBA record by making all 40 of their free throws.
