The 31-year-old was rushed to the hospital after the return to Athens following the away game against Virtus Segafredo Bologna.

The player was suffering severe pain. As the tests have shown, the discomfort was caused by a kidney stone.

Canaan has spent the weekend at home and felt better. The medicine helped his condition, and he avoided surgery.

He will not play in tomorrow's Greek league game between Olympiacos and Apollon Patras, but he should be available against Real Madrid on Friday, January 20.

Canaan averages 5.6 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 2.2 PIR in 19 EuroLeague games this season.
