"I watch some NBA games, but I watch more EuroLeague than NBA. But if it is a really good NBA game on TV, I will watch it," he said at that time.
After Mavs' 136-119 loss against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday, Doncic reiterated his words about watching EuroLeague and said that his former team -- Real Madrid -- and Crvena Zvezda, are his two favorite clubs to watch on TV.
"I just watch games. Mostly Real Madrid and Red Star," Doncic pointed out. "I always say it's way different rules. A lot of times you can't play the same in the EuroLeague or in the NBA. I'm just enjoying watching it."
Luka led Madrid to the 2018 EuroLeague title, winning the EuroLeague MVP and the Final Four MVP. Doncic was also named the ACB League MVP and won back-to-back EuroLeague Rising Star and ACB Best Young Player awards before taking the leap to the NBA.
3rd overall pick in 2018, Doncic is in his fifth NBA season, all with Dallas. He participates in the NBA MVP race this season, averaging a career-best 33.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists over 40 games.
